Free Refresher's Sessions

 

Free of charge short refresher sessions lasting approximately 20 minutes

(These sessions are not aimed at new users of Class)

Improve your skills

Join a presentation on how to make best use of Class with each refresher session focusing on a small but specific area of Class. Even if you have been using Class for sometime there could be that "little gem" that you pick up. The sessions are carried out via the internet, which allows you to log in from your PC and look at our Class training data, while on the phone listening to the dialogue.

How to attend

Places are limited and restricted to one connection per school but please note that by placing your telephone on loud speaker more people can take advantage of the presentation. If you do book a place and then for any reason cannot attend please advise Infospeed so that your place can be released. None. These sessions are FREE for all clients that hold a current Connected Support contract

Accommodation Payments

Are you using Class to calculate accommodation payments? May be you are but are not confident that you understand the settings and features available. This Refresher session will explain:

  • The payment rules
  • How to produce the standard reports including Remittance Advices
  • How to use your own Remittance Advice layouts
  • Pay additional payments to families

All the above will be explained as well as their creation and use.

Automatic Classing

This will cover the general use of this area of Class but we will also give you some general tips:

  • Classing new students
  • Moving students between classes both individually and in bulk
  • Producing standard class lists and registers
  • How to design your own class list/registers

All the above and more will be explained.

Agents

There may be some areas of the agent’s database record that you may not be totally familiar with. A few of which are:

  • Finance Details – different discounts for different course/times of year
  • When should you consider using Sub-price Lists
  • Promotions – and their use. Please note that this Refresher session will not include the creation of Promotions which will be covered at a later date.
  • Why have different Invoice Layouts?
  • Commissions Tab
  • Holding additional contact details

Class Ledger – End of Period Reports

There are various reports/controls that should be run typically on a monthly basis. This particular Refresher Session will explain these reports and which figures should be compared.

  • End of Period Accounting Analysis
  • Control Reports
  • Ledger Reconciliation
